Core Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end delivery of custom implementations tailored to the needs of Public Works, FDOT, and similar clients
- Develop and maintain project plans, Gantt charts, and task trackers for multi-disciplinary engagements
- Lead stakeholder meetings, status calls, and project steering sessions, communicating updates and mitigating risks
- Coordinate cross-functional resources including software engineers, GIS analysts, and field implementation specialists
- Collaborate on proposal development, SOWs, and reporting for RFP and grant-funded programs
- Ensure compliance with state and municipal standards (e.g., FDOT IT requirements, public record policies)
- Oversee testing, training, and go-live execution for SaaS platform modules and technical enhancements
- Capture and share lessons learned for continuous process improvement and scalability
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, IT Management, Public Administration, or a related technical field
- Minimum 4 years of project management experience in government-focused technology delivery or infrastructure modernization
- Proven success in managing projects involving regulatory compliance and operational transformation
- Familiarity with public sector workflows in transportation, permitting, inspections, and asset lifecycle management
- Excellent communication, planning, and documentation skills
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira) and Agile/hybrid methodologies
Preferred Skills & Certifications
- PMP, PMI-ACP, or Certified Scrum Master (CSM) credential
- Experience with FDOT workflows, public utility infrastructure, or Smart Cities technology platforms
- Knowledge of SaaS-based solutions for GIS, CMMS, permitting, or right-of-way management
- Technical fluency in integrations, APIs, and field data capture
- Understanding of government procurement processes and grant management (e.g., DOT, FEMA, MPO initiatives)
