Key Responsibilities
- Develop machine learning models and statistical analyses to address complex business challenges
- Clean, organize, and interpret large structured and unstructured datasets
- Build predictive and descriptive models using tools like Python, R, or Scala
- Partner with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Product, Operations) to implement data solutions
- Communicate insights clearly to stakeholders through compelling visualizations and presentations
- Support data-driven decision-making with exploratory data analysis and hypothesis testing
- Advocate for data governance, privacy, and ethical AI practices
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in data science, analytics, or machine learning roles
- Proficiency in Python, R, SQL, and relevant libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, pandas, NumPy)
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and version control tools like Git
- Hands-on experience with dashboarding and visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
- Strong grasp of statistical methods, data modeling, and A/B testing
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree or higher in a quantitative discipline
- Experience with deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch)
- Knowledge of natural language processing, recommender systems, or time-series modeling
- Certification in data science or analytics (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Data Scientist Associate)
