Partner Spotlight – Esri

Esri is the developer of ArcGIS®, the most powerful mapping software in the world. ArcGIS® connects people with maps, data, and apps through geographic information systems (GIS). It is a location platform that’s accessible to anyone, anywhere, anytime. Being a partner of Esri, and with the help of its flagship solution ArcGIS®,  EPIC is able to utilize big data to its full potential for spatial and other data analytics. EPIC is pleased to share more information on our valued partner in this Partner Spotlight.

  • Origin: Esri began with the idea of helping those with one of the world’s largest problem; how to unlock data’s full potential. With a humble beginning of a just $1,100 once Esri was incorporated, it grew at a conservatively steady pace.
  • Products: Esri offers ArcGIS®, which provides a deeper understanding of how data is impacting business along with the area in which it is being affected. ArcGIS® comes in different versions with unique functionalities to suit Esri’s customer’s needs including ArcGIS Pro®, ArcGIS Online®, and ArcGIS Enterprise®. These products are implemented to fit the framework of the customer’s business.
  • Events: From July 10th – 14th 2017, Esri hosted UC, its annual user conference in which they dove deeply in the uses of GIS in correlation to the growth of business knowledge. Along with discussions of GIS and its importance to relevant data, UC offered hands on training on all things GIS.

EPIC Engineering & Consulting Group is proud to be partnered with Esri. With decades of experience in GIS in relation to commercial, government, and the manufacturing industry, Esri continues to play a large role in the growth of GIS. Our experts at EPIC are ecstatic to continue to collaborate with Esri and look forward to solving the needs of our combined customers.

In our next partner installment we will feature the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services where EPIC is implementing a customer facing website utilizing ArcGIS Online.
